WELCOME
Congratulations on investing in your guitar journey!
Why take this course?
Even though this question may seem obvious, it is important to keep the main purpose of taking this course in mind at all times. Whether you want to learn guitar or learn how to succeed in the music business, this course offers something that hundreds of others don’t.
There’s something that tells you that simply learning how to play guitar and even becoming extremely talented at it is not enough for you to achieve your ultimate goal as a guitarist. Yes, that is true, and it is a fact. The music industry isn’t just about talent.
It has been quite some time since I have been involved in the guitar world, music production, entrepreneurship, you name it. I have yet to find courses that truly contain the real recipe for success.
Therefore, just being interested in learning more than just how to play guitar is a good start. This could be one of the most boring parts of the whole process, which is why many people skip it. It is also because of this that many people do not succeed.
Getting Started
Getting the most out of this course requires you to understand its purpose.
Navigation of course
In the upper left corner of the website, you will find the navigation menu for the course. There are four icons: your account, the course timeline, your daily tasks, the course’s community, and challenges.
Some are available right now, and others will become available as you progress through the course.
Alternatively, you can access this course from your account page. The links are located under the membership tab. There you will find links to each section as they become available.
Purpose of the course timeline
The course is a drip-style course, which means that the content will be available to view at the time listed on the timeline of the course. Understanding rather than memorizing information is the key to success in the world of music.
On-demand courses are overwhelming with too much information at once, leading to learning overload and demotivation.
Course Objective
It’s for everyone, no matter what their skill level is.
Scope of the course
The goal of this guitar course is to help students achieve their ultimate goal without being confused by unnecessary information that takes away the focus from the desired result. There is no complexity to it, and it is easy to follow.
The content of this course can seem overwhelming at first glance, especially from the perspective of a beginner. In my opinion, it is important to be aware that the idea of skill levels does more harm than good.
I understand that sometimes it is physically impossible to do some of the things that we are taught, and that is why people are grouped into different levels. In the real world, music is music. The audience will pay no attention to whether you are just starting out or are advanced. If they like your music, they will buy it.
The road to success in music is a one-way street, and it’s largely about understanding what works and how it works.
This course is intended to be a one-level course, where everybody is welcome. You will find it physically easier to approach things if you are advanced than if you are just getting started. If you are just starting out, any physical activity will have expansions.
No matter how good you are at guitar, how knowledgeable you are, etc., if you’re still looking for ways to succeed, you’ve already realized that skills alone won’t get you there.
Unless we provide value, the world around us doesn’t seem to care about the skills that we have to support us in any way.
With that in mind, one can understand that regardless of our physical ability when we begin to learn something, like learning how to become a successful guitarist in this case, it keeps us motivated to work as hard as we can to get better quite quickly, so we can catch up.
Course Structure
The course is divided into three sections, each of which contains three chapters.
Course content will become available on the listed date. Once the course content becomes available, you will have lifetime access to it.
Knowledge
The music industry does not necessarily require great guitar skills or theoretical knowledge.
The key to becoming a successful guitarist is to combine skills and a deep understanding of how your music affects others psychologically.
The course will not emphasize theory but rather the basics, as our main goal is to gain knowledge and to have a clear understanding of how this all works.
Training
The same principles apply to successful artists as they do to Olympic medalists.
An Olympic medalist does not just obtain a full course on how to become a gold medalist, he or she trains in order to do so.
We will train like athletes. We train to reach our goal, and we only train the right things to achieve it. As we need our technique to be our strongest asset, the same discipline and principles will apply.
Music Production
Understanding and knowing music production plays an important role in your success. It is basically the final print of your music, so you need to know how it all works.
Recording music doesn't require a lot of equipment, as is commonly believed. Creating and recording music is easier than you think.
Regardless of whether you're interested in music production or not, understanding how it works is vital to your success.
We don’t do much, but what we do, we do better than most. We focus on just the elements that take us to our goal or the closest to it without feeling like we are missing out. Our attitude toward people with awesome skills and large amounts of theoretical knowledge is that as long as we are successful we do not care about what other people know or can do.
It is our mindset that determines our success.
What inspired this course
You don’t need to know everything to be a successful guitarist. You just need to master a few things. Success follows a simple and straightforward path. Most guitar teachers provide students with an extensive list of guitar resources without considering the student’s goal and whether that many tools are even necessary to achieve it.
The world cannot afford any more ignorance and lies. As a generation, we have inherited a world that is filled with a lot of scams, and it can be very difficult for us to see past them to make informed decisions that will benefit our future.
It is unfortunate that many people who are looking to start their own career as a guitarist these days are being bombarded with information that is solely based on making money rather than providing them with valuable information that could lead them closer to their end goal as a musician.
Additionally, most articles found on search engines are usually written by people who have no idea about the topic or only write them for the purpose of ranking them, ultimately to generate income through ads and affiliate links. Most education is being marketed with the intention of simply generating profit.
As a result, the content is marketed in such a way that it sounds good, but is actually not helpful. I don’t mean to say there aren’t any good ones out there, but they are very hard to find.
The fact that this is happening on such a large scale is extremely upsetting to see. The value I could provide to the world, in my opinion, is too important to just not do anything about it.
Rather than simply putting up another guitar course, there was an obvious need for such a course to be available to the general public.
This course is intended to narrow down the path to success as much as possible and clear out any unnecessary information that everyone believes to be essential in order to achieve success.
I strongly believe this course has the potential to save many career paths just by eliminating misconceptions about music success.
